Maryellen: Taking Off

In charge of planning her tenth birthday, designing a flying machine, and most importantly, taking care of the family dog, Scooter, during a camping trip, Maryellen finds herself faced with a daunting challenge one night. While she is entrusted with looking after Scooter, the beloved family pet suddenly goes missing. Determined to find him before the others return, Maryellen teams up with her bossy big sister, Joan, to search the woods.

However, their search takes a turn for the worse when Joan also disappears, leaving Maryellen solely responsible for finding both Scooter and her sister. Now truly in charge, Maryellen must rise to the occasion, whether she is prepared for it or not. Can she successfully locate Scooter, rescue her sister, and solve the mystery of making something fly, all within the span of one night?
